Diabetes & Endocrine Drug Center

Several drugs are used to treat diabetes. Medications used to treat type 2 diabetes include sulfonylureas, meglitinides, biguanides, alpha glucosidase inhibitors and thiazolidinediones. Insulin is used to treat type 1 diabetes. Drugs that treat endocrine disorders such as thyroid problems include antithyroid medications, thyroid hormone and beta blockers.
